Huzi recorded Sleepless here at his home studio in 2020 <add Sleepless project details here>. Huzi is an established ar0st in Beijing's underground music scene, first appearing on stage as the front man in the late 90's alterna0ve folk band, X--‐ Doctor. In 2000, Huzi started to focus his work within the electro genre. Since then, Huzi has released three albums on China's most indie label Modern Sky Records, with his last full LP, Gemini Trip, becoming one of the best selling Chinese electronica albums to date for Modern Sky. In 2007, Huzi founded Pet Conspiracy, with two former band members. Since the founding, he's served as the band's producer and lead guitarist, and has worked to release the first full--‐length album, Pet Conspiracy, and the EP, Noise from the Future. Musically speaking, the band Pet Conspiracy takes influence from punk rock, new wave and electro music, while their live acts bring the energy of Peaches and Crystal Castle mixed with the theatrical atmospheres of German surrealis0c movies. Pet Conspiracy is a project, rather than a band, watching their shows is an experience, rather than simple entertainment. They have played in countries around the world, including Germany, Spain, Italy, Norway and Singapore.
